Hi, I'm Dave (DMC) McNabb and I am a Professional Wedding and Portrait Photographer based in Bolton, Lancashire (or Greater Manchester, if you prefer)

Originally from the Midlands, I have lived in the North West for the past 25 years. I am happily married and have two wonderful, sometimes shy, sometimes cheeky sons. I love music and films and I'm a keen musician, playing both the guitar and drums (though not at the same time) and once even had the privilege of performing live at Glastonbury Festival. I have a degree from Bolton University (Bolton Institute as it was back then) and I love nothing more in the world than hearing my boys laugh (or maybe a blackbird's song).

"Always seeing something, never seeing nothing, being photographer" ~ Whether I'm photographing a wedding, or on location for a portrait shoot, or just out with my family and friends, I am always seeing photographs in the making, always looking to capture special moments in time, that would otherwise be lost forever ~ I live photography, I love photography, I am never without a camera.

Style & Approach
My style is natural and relaxed ~ it is contemporary, yet also influenced by many of the great photographic styles and artistic traditions. I concentrate on details and real moments, on showing relationships and personality, on capturing those fleeting instances that connect us with the world around us ~ and I only intervene when its really neccessary to improve the photo.

The vast majority of the photographs I take are of and in the moment ~ natural, unique and intimate.

"Fashion fades, only style remains" ~ I do not follow fashion and believe if something is stylish now, then it always will be.

I use a range of high-end, class leading professional Canon cameras and lenses for all my photographic work.
